I use painting, drawing, writing & collage to enquire into the relationship between body, mind & spirit.

What does it mean to be human? How much do we really know about ourselves and others?

As a self taught artist I studied Design in the 1980s and later re-trained as  a Psychotherapist.

My inspiration comes from Street Art, Mysticism, Fiction & Fashion. I describe my work as Abstract & Surreal Pop Art. I like to play with illusion, light and dark, freedom and control, depth and surface.

The juxtaposition of painting, drawing, photographic imagery & figurative fragments are used to describe the relationship between seen & unseen worlds.

My current series is entitled 'Inside the Outside' and explores the frame through which we either look out or look in.
