As a self-taught artist I studied Graphic Design and later 3D Designer in the 1980s at Manchester Metropolitan University and at RMIT in Australia. Then, in the early 90s I moved to London to pursue a career as an Interior and Exhibition Designer & in the 2000s retrained as a Transpersonal and Existential Psychotherapist.

Through my artwork I explore the relationship between inside and outside, seen and unseen realities, the mind and the body and the movements between both. My work aims to create a sense of illusion, space and form where the viewer is pulled in multiple directions.

Inspired by street art, fashion and design I re-appropriate found images to form analogue collages as well as drawings where I use language, words and the human body to construct inner landscapes. Re-appropriated images are used in place of paint and brush.
